Summary
Salvatore Sanfilippo (antirez), the creator of Redis, shares a philosophical reflection on the future of programming in the age of AI and automatic code generation. He suggests that as AI takes over more coding tasks, the intricate and aesthetically pleasing programs crafted by humans in earlier eras might be viewed as a form of art, much like historical manuscripts are appreciated today. This tweet prompts contemplation on the evolving role of human creativity and craftsmanship in software development.
