今天（29日），外交部发言人郭嘉昆主持例行记者会。总台央视记者提问，委内瑞拉地震发生以来，伤亡人数持续上升。请问中方为委内瑞拉地震救灾提供了哪些帮助?
郭嘉昆表示，中国政府已决定在此前向委方提供现汇援助的基础上，向委方追加1亿元人民币紧急无偿物资援助，用于地震救灾和灾后重建，并将尽快运抵委内瑞拉。中方还向委方提供了地震灾区卫星图像，为委方抗震救灾提供支持。
在委内瑞拉的中资企业和华侨社团纷纷自发向委方提供救援工作急需的工程机械和医疗物资，并组建救援队积极参与搜救工作。中方愿根据委内瑞拉灾情发展，继续向委方提供更多支持。
