叙利亚首都大马士革市中心司法宫附近一家咖啡馆2日下午发生爆炸。据叙过渡政府卫生部最新消息，此次袭击已造成至少9人死亡，20人受伤。
叙过渡政府司法部当天发表声明说，这是一起“恐怖爆炸事件”，遇难者中有多名律师。
大马士革省长马希尔·伊德利比对媒体说，爆炸由一枚简易炸弹引起。
叙过渡政府内政部方面消息显示，内政部安全部队和救护队在事发后立即赶赴现场，开展伤员转运和紧急救治工作。
目前尚无组织宣布对此次袭击负责，相关调查正在进行中。
