据央视新闻曝光，消费者在线下美容店或线上直播间，购买使用了名为“七子白古法护肤产品”后，面部皮肤出现了不同程度的过敏现象，部分消费者甚至症状严重，需要就医治疗。
在许多护肤宣传中，“七子白”被宣传成一种从古代流传至今的美白配方，但总台记者核查《化妆品禁用植（动）物原料目录》发现，七子白经典配方中的白芷，早已被国家列入化妆品禁用原料，严禁以任何形式添加在各类化妆品中。

记者根据电商平台上的线索，来到一家江西川卉草本生物科技有限公司。这家企业主营各类草本精油的生产加工，具备完整的化妆品生产资质。
销售负责人告诉记者，由于“七子白面霜”添加了违禁成分“白芷”，所以无法进行正规化妆品备案。但是作为一家正规化妆品生产企业，为了躲避监管，他们只能将面霜膏体生产好，完成灌装之后就配送给经销商，之后的贴标签、做包装的环节都不参与。
这样的产品销量可观，光是一家经销商，两三个月就能售罄上万瓶“三无七子白面霜”，线上经销商宁愿冒着被罚款的风险，也愿意顶风销售。客服口中所谓的“手工制品”，都是商户们和制造工厂糊弄消费者、躲避监管的一套骗术说辞。 SFC
