杨占国老师还记得这首诗背后的故事。这句“小小的月亮大大的家”，一下子打动了他。作者郝新宇的妈妈在上海打工，月亮承载着孩子对母亲的思念。后来郝新宇考上高中重返母校，他依旧记得那次公开课，自己当众朗读这首写给妈妈的诗，也正是从那时起，他爱上了诗歌。 02

史香环老师回忆说，侯雪茹的父母在外务工，她跟 着 爷爷奶奶生活，但能看出家人饱满的爱意，让她的内心非常富足。“我能体会到她细腻的内心世界。孩子能感受到奶奶对她的照顾，但即便如此，她还是会捡个树叶当伙伴。”

影子的勇气

王艳萍老师提到一首《影子的勇气》。“这个孩子家庭环境和谐，活泼开朗，有些调皮。但从他的诗里可以看到，他把影子当成可以一直在自己身边的隐形朋友。写影子的勇敢，其实是在写自己的勇敢。”

写这首诗的男孩 侯剑雨 说，他不喜欢春天，因为春天带走了他的爷爷。他的爷爷是骨癌离世的，他爱爷爷，爷爷也对他非常好，教他骑自行车，给他做玩具。对于这首诗，老师白玲的批语是，“说不定，爷爷太喜欢春天，才在春天离开”。

山东省聊城市莘县樱桃园镇谷疃小学 的诗歌课，是2021年开设的。最初的时候，是因为教语文的杨占国老师爱好写作，在收集儿童诗歌的过程中，偶然接触到公益组织“是光诗歌”，萌生了带孩子们写诗的想法。他向校长提交课程申请，得到了学校的支持。从此，诗歌课经历了一个从青涩到成熟的过程，授课老师也从杨占国一个人，发展为现在的四名老师。
开课初期，孩子们面对写诗常常无从下笔。为此，老师们带他们去校园的柳树下看嫩芽，去校舍后的麦田感受麦浪沙沙，去离学校不远的河边看芦苇白色的花，去感受风，感受雨，感受草长和花开……慢慢地，孩子们开始写下属于自己的第一句话。

诗歌课没有作业，也不设考试，孩子们在课堂上是放松、自由的，怎么舒服怎么来。老师们表示，设置诗歌课的目的不仅是为了让孩子们感受美，用欣赏的眼光去看这个世界，更是为了给这群留守孩子提供一个心灵窗口，让他们有机会自我对话，也有机会对世界说出自己心里的话。
谷疃小学的学生中有父母全部在外务工的留守儿童，有父亲去世、母亲改嫁，只能和爷爷相依为命的孩子，有智力或肢体障碍的特殊儿童。随着诗歌课的开展，慢慢地，孩子们开始通过诗句，向老师打开自己心里尘封的那扇门。
这个打开“门”的瞬间，也许是课堂上，孩子将教室走廊上的一扇破窗描述为“一幅画”；也许是孩子突然写下一句精妙的“麦田和土地，是甲方乙方的关系”；更可能是，孩子打开心门，写下“大树独自成长”，献给那个在父母不在身边的日子里，默默长大的自己。
快乐时，孩子们写“走！去海边，去山上，去每个地方跳舞”，写“是树叶风的沙沙声音，是桃花的香味，是小狗在夕阳下玩耍”。落寞的时候，孩子们写“我要把窗户献给黑暗里的人，赶走所有恐惧”，写 “影子比你更勇敢，至少它在黑暗里陪着我”。
在谷疃小学，诗歌比起一门课程，更像是孩子们的成长伙伴，在每一段珍贵时光里，牵起孩子的手，说：“别怕，一起走。”
