意大利 Castel Badia 酒店是一座历史悠久的建筑群，其历史可追溯至中世纪1000年左右，酒店最初是一座防御工事，之后被改建为修道院。

当时的修道院逐渐发展成为一个权力中心，Maria Antonietta Mörlin 院长因参与权力斗争而出名，她姓名首字母“MAMA”至今仍保留在灰泥墙面上，这也是女性掌权时代的一个微妙印记。

这个建筑群在1598年的毁灭性大火之后沉寂，历经数个世纪的变迁，现在 Castel Badia 酒店 的业主慢慢地收回了这片土地，而历史则如同回声般萦绕不去。

建筑群外部延伸出一系列主题花园，共十七座，这些花园顺应地形地貌，种植了大量植物和花卉。山顶最高处矗立着圣维吉利奥教堂，而花园之中则隐约可见圣哥达教堂的遗址。

酒店的修复项目由 Niull 17工作室负责建筑结构，Nathalie和Virginie Droulers姐妹负责室内设计，Marta Ferri担任创意总监，三方通力合作。

建筑师避免了破坏性的改造，而是采用减法手法，让原始材料得以展现。修道院的历史墙壁、壁画和几何形状是该项目的出发点，在不破坏建筑群整体平衡的前提下，融入了现代元素。

历经三年建设，酒店 于2025年12月开业，焕发新的活力，将现代与千年历史完美融合。

一支由当地工匠、手工艺人和修复师组成的团队也参与其中，让改造更加精益求精。从历史和设计书籍到宗教画作的选择，从天然材料到自然景观的色彩，无不与酒店的历史和过往对话。

主厨阿尔贝托·托埃 (Alberto Toè) 的厨房也处处体现着对生活美学的追求。他出生于威尼斯，曾在米其林三星餐厅 Caminada 和 Niederkofler 的厨房中历练，除了仅在晚上营业的高级餐厅外，他还在小酒馆 (stube) 烹制更轻松、更具当地特色的菜肴。

建筑风格融合了古典元素，展现出其独特的演变。餐厅采用全新的阿尔卑斯山色调、精致的天鹅绒和简约的造型，与彩色陶炉和精美的雕花木质天花板相得益彰，引领人们开启一段美妙的旅程。

公共空间也保持着循序渐进的结构：从设有瓷砖炉灶的Stube餐厅，到拥有镶嵌天花板的Residenzstube餐厅，再到设有主厨餐桌的美食餐厅，所有空间均分布在修复后的历史建筑中。

酒店的29间客房，包括9间客房、10间小型套房、9间套房和一栋独立小木屋，由原有建筑改造而成。木材、石材和天然织物营造出明亮宽敞的空间，这些空间通常可俯瞰山谷或内部庭院，历史建筑细节与现代家具和设计理念在此和谐共存。

地下室则是一次感官盛宴，经过精心修复的11世纪壁画残片在密集的交叉拱顶下重现，让人流连忘返。

由拱形走廊连接的古老修道院僧舍如今已成为水疗中心的理疗室，而药草园则体现了贯穿酒店所有体验的理念，从厨房到水疗中心，无不体现着这一理念。
