I'm closing my Wise account because this is the second time they restict my account in a year, and have me jump increasingly ridiculous hoops to keep making business transfers (paying for invoices in USD using my EUR account) My bank can do all this, and in B2B the cost matters less than not having your transfer blocked for no reason (which Wise just did, and now an invoice I thought I paid for a week ago was never transferred)

One Sentence Summary
Gergely Orosz explains that for B2B transfers, reliability and avoiding blocked payments are more critical than the lower fees offered by Wise.
Summary
In this follow-up, Orosz explains the specific friction points leading to his churn: repeated account restrictions and 'ridiculous hoops' for business transfers (EUR to USD). He emphasizes a critical business insight: in a B2B context, the cost of a blocked invoice and the resulting operational delay far outweigh the savings on transfer fees, making traditional banks or more reliable neobanks a better choice.
